In 2019, Sarah set out complete all the bikepacking routes detailed by her late husband, Ryan Correy, in his book Bikepacking in the Canadian Rockies. Pete and Tyler chat with Sarah Hornby of Bikepack Canada about her epic 2019 adventures and plans for 2020. You need to train so much and win all these races, there’s all this pressure and for the most part you could invest your entire life into this and not succeed, and still end up working at a car wash. Tyler on his place in the cycling world, and how anyone can create their own place “The new generation of cyclists, maybe old school, to be successful in the sport you have to be the top athlete. We got to chat with Tyler about his love for bikes, his recent attempt to complete and Ironman distance, his videos and his journey to health and a plant based lifestyle. He’s a Cat 2 bike racer, family man and the host of the incredibly popular YouTube channel, The Vegan Cyclist. So, I can’t be grateful enough for cycling”. The upshot is that I’m healthier physically, I’m healthier mentally, and while I can’t say that all of my good mental health is a result of cycling, it was cycling that lead me to the understanding and to the resources that got me where I am today. This certainly was not what I thought was going to happen when I was 25.
